The Las Vegas shooter is seen on video being questioned by police in Las Vegas, Nevada, during an active shooter situation.
The suspect, who was seen entering a store and exiting the vehicle before the attack, is identified as Joseph Lanza.
According to the Associated Press, Lanza, who has not been charged in connection with the massacre, is believed to have acted alone in the attack.
The Associated Press reports the suspect had been detained and was “unresponsive” when he was questioned by Las Vegas police.
A SWAT team was called in and began searching for the gunman.
The AP adds that authorities have not identified the shooter’s motive in the shooting, which took place in a mall parking lot and was apparently not an act of terrorism.
Authorities have not released a suspect description, although the FBI has said the shooter may have been inspired by the Islamic State militant group.
The mall was closed and is currently under lockdown.
