A new survey has revealed that the average Indian can’t wait to buy their next house, as well as their next apartment.
The survey by the National Consumer Survey (NCS) found that people in India want to buy homes and apartments by 2020, but only about half of them are able to afford it.
While many of them have seen their income stagnate, others are struggling financially and have not been able to buy properties.
The NCS survey also found that an increasing number of people in the country are in debt and are looking for help from the government.
The survey found that 58 per cent of respondents were not able to meet their monthly mortgage payments.
Many of them were also unable to afford a deposit or other financing for a new home.
Some of the key findings of the survey include:According to the NCS, the average monthly rent in the state of Punjab is Rs 1,900.
People in Bihar, Uttar Pradesh and West Bengal, with the lowest population density, are paying around Rs 1.1 lakh a month.
The average monthly income in the states of Punjab, UP and West Baluchistan is about Rs 2,000 a month, and the average income in Assam is Rs 3,200.
Some states like Bihar, Jammu and Kashmir and Uttar Pradesh, with high population density have higher average incomes.
Many of the states with higher population density had higher average disposable income in November, the survey found.
The average income of people from Bihar, UP, West Bengal and Jammu was Rs 1 crore a month in November.
The same income was reported in Gujarat, UP in November and Maharashtra in December.
A lot of people living in these states are not able or willing to pay off their loans or deposit for a home.
Many are either unwilling to move out of the region or are not interested in moving to the city, which is why the average rent in these areas is higher than other states.
However, the NCS survey found the average disposable earnings in the rest of India was not affected by the shortage of housing.
The median income of households in Bihar was Rs 6,800 in November last year, while the median income in Uttar Pradesh was Rs 5,900, while in West Bengal it was Rs 4,700.
The NCS also found a significant decrease in the number of residents in rural areas, with a decline of 12.8 per cent in urban areas.
The study also found, that more than half of the people in Bihar have not had a job for two years.
More than 50 per cent are not willing to take on a new job in the next three years.
This was the case in Jammu, UP as well.
