SANTA CLARA, Calif.
— A video posted on social media Monday morning shows a man in a white shirt and a dark jacket approach a white, white SUV and open fire on a white Chevrolet Tahoe, hitting a woman in the head.
The man then flees, according to a video posted by the Santa Clara County Sheriff’s Department.
The woman, identified by the sheriff’s department as Maria Flores, was rushed to a hospital, where she died from her injuries.
Authorities said the suspect is a 31-year-old Hispanic man, who is believed to be a resident of a home in the 1600 block of West Franklin Avenue.
Authorities said they were still looking for the other suspect.
Officials also said Flores’ family had no idea what the man was doing in the area.
